My Favorite Game Intros

Who can't forget the first time they played Ocarina Of Time?
Firing up the N64. Hearing the galloping of Epona's hoofs as the melancholy, yet beautiful tune begins to play as Link, on steed, rides into the dawn.
It was magic.

Game intros can leave leave a lasting impression on you, whether you realize it or not. First impressions can really be everything. Especially when dealing with that good old feeling of video game euphoria.

My Favorite Video Game Music: Genesis Edition

The Sega Genesis. I didn't get one of my own until way later, and when I finally did, a year later our house was robbed and the crooks took off with my SNES and Genesis. Not to mention all the games for both systems. And oh yeah, my Super Gameboy and all my Gameboy games. "Sigh"...so is life.

So my brief time with my own Genesis and the time I had spent with others, has left me with quite a few fond memories of the game music.
Well, there is that and the fact that Sega likes to port their old games over and over again.
And now the best blips and beeps of The Sega Genesis.

My Favorite Video Game Music: 8-Bit Era

Oh the days of my youth.
In a way I have no regrets about never wanting to go outside and play all that much. Of course, I did go out quite a bit before "She" came into my life...
...good ole NES.

Video games in the NES era aren't all brightly colored sprites and princess saving. It takes a lot of talented people to put together a video game. In honor of the men and women who composed the sounds of my childhood, here I'm posting my favorite NES music of the 8-Bit era.
Enjoy!
